LeBron Raymone James Sr., born the 30th of December, 1984, is an American professional basket ball player, who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA). The player is referred to for his role as King James and is considered as one of the most successful basketball players in history. James was awarded four NBA championships and four NBA MVPs as well as three MVPs of the All-Star team as well as two Olympic medals. James was a student at St. Vincent St. Mary High School in his hometown of Akron Ohio and was heavily in the news media as a potential NBA star. As a prep to pro it was the Cleveland Cavaliers chose him as the top pick during the NBA draft in 2003. After being named 2004 NBA Rookie of the Year, he soon became a top player within the NBA winning the MVP award in both 2009 and 2010 for the NBA. in 2009 and 2010. He was unable to secure a championship with Cleveland James left in 2010 as a free agent in order to be a part of Miami Heat.
