Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson is a talented American actress who has worked as a singer, writer, director and producer. Her most recognizable role is as Tara Maclay, in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Additionally, she has directed, produced and starred for her own film Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. In addition, she was a part of Kiss the Bride. Benson was the child, born on January 8, 1977 to Edward Benson and Diane Benson. Her younger sister is Danielle, who works as an artist. His father was Jewish while her mother was educated Southern Baptist Benson grew up attending the Reform synagogue located in Alabama. In the years since Buffy was cancelled, Benson was in films including The Killing Jar and on shows such as Morganville The Series. When she was in front of the camera, she used her writing talents to create the Ghosts of Albion and direct projects such as the 2010's Drones.
